Born in Wilson, NC, in 1963, Tawana was trained as a baby to use her feet as hands. She can do just about anything that someone with arms can do, even braid hair and write a check. She grew up in the Washington, DC. area, where she attended school. In 1981, as a senior in high school, she became addicted to crack cocaine because of peer pressure. Her addiction lasted 10 years. In 1991, after becoming tired of her lifestyle, she cried out for God to deliver her from her addictions. He answered her instantly...

I think you are truly a blessing to others as well as being blessed . I heard you on television and just caught the name of your book so i had to look you up.your life speaks volumes .Let God continue to use you in letting others no as lofg as there is a GOD there is HOPE. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.

I had the opportunity to see a glimpse of you on The Balancing Act Yesterday… This is a show I don’t watch but I saw you soon as it came on and I was hooked… You were only on there briefly but for what I woke up with on my mind, your faith-filled attitude addressed it… I was like, that’s what I’m talking about, you have done Everything and Lived your life to the fullest when the majority of society does need encouragement and often looking for it from all the wrong people instead of turning to God… I’ve been blessed with the gift of encouraging others and I’m passionate about it but I need every now and then, someone so inspiring as yourself to pour back into me what I’ve given out so freely… That, you did! Rock on… You blessed me and I’m looking for your book…I’ve emailed all my Sisters in Christ and advised them to make the purchase as well, 1) to support what God has blessed us with in you and 2) to get fed off the abundant harvest He’s planted in you… I’m so greedy and I want it all… We run out and get all this self help stuff when everything truly is in the Word of God so I challenge everyone reading this to do the same in making the purchase and planting yet another seed for God to spring forth from you… God bless you… I was pondering all week about things in my life, where I was headed and how I can operate in my God given purpose and you broke it down in one line… “I seldom think about my limitations, because I’m focused on my possibilities.” -Tawana Williams
